Road resurfacing works have begun along a major Weymouth route.
The works will see an overnight closure of Chickerell Road at its junction with Chickerell Link Road near Aldi between the hours of 8pm and 6am.
Access to East Fleet Farm will not be impacted.
The works begun on Wednesday, May 22 and are planned to be completed by Saturday, May 25.
The works are being carried out on behalf of Dorset Council.
The road will re-open to traffic daily and at weekends and works are planned to be carried out in two sections.
They are taking place to make repairs to the road and a diversion route will remain in place for the full duration.
During the closure periods there will be no on street parking available, and temporary parking restrictions will be implemented to prevent waiting or parking on the roads.
The works are happening in conjunction with additional roadworks happening further along Chickerell Road between Fiveways and the junction with Abbotsbury Road next week.
The road is also having to close at night for this work starting Tuesday, May 28.
These works are also taking place between the hours of 8pm and 6am and it is anticipated that they will be completed by June 6.
