Most have been approved by Dorset Council, although one with a Juliet balcony in Lytchett Matravers has been turned down with a planning officer deciding it would be ‘overbearing and cause significant overshadowing’ to a neighbouring home.

P/HOU/2024/01250 - Badgers Leap Burbidge Close Lytchett Matravers BH16 6EG. Erect first storey rear extension with Juliet balcony. Refused.
