AN APPLICATION has been made for a new premises licence for the provision of alcohol at a golf centre café

The No. 10 Wessex Café at Wessex Golf Centre in Weymouth wishes to provide alcohol between 12pm and 9pm from Monday through to Sunday.

The Radipole Lane golf centre café has made the application to Dorset Council.

Wessex Golf Centre has a nine hole golf course and an undercover floodlit Top Tracer Driving Range.

The cafe offers locally sourced produce and 'great views'. It is open seven days a week and offers free parking and inside and outside seating.

It is an offence under Section 158 of the Licensing Act 2003 to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in connection with an application, the maximum fine on summary conviction is unlimited.
