McDONALD'S in Dorchester has temporarily stopped serving fries.
Customers have been left furious after maintenance at the McDonald's restaurant on Bridport Road in Dorchester meant customers could not have a side of fries alongside their meals.
Customers took to Facebook to vent their frustration.
One woman posted on social media and said: "McDonald's isn't serving fries today"
Among the comments, one man replied: "No point going then."
Another jokingly wrote: "I can't survive under these conditions."
Finally one person said: "Go to the chip shop and get proper ones."
Staff at the McDonald's restaurant said the fries were temporarily unavailable due to "routine maintenance work" to replace a pump in one of the fryers.
Customers were left without the option of fries for around two hours.
They assured customers that the fries would be served again "very soon"
