A main road in Weymouth was closed this afternoon due to a crash.
Dorset Police received a report at 12.26pm of a crash involving three cars on Radipole Lane in Westham in Weymouth.
It is reported that a vehicle collided with two parked cars.
Police officers attended with three fire engines and ambulance services.
The single occupant of the vehicle had already got out of the car when the fire service arrived on the scene.
There have been reports of minor injuries.
A road closure was put in place from Weymouth Fire Station and reopened at around 2pm.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: "At 12.26pm on Tuesday May 21 2024, Dorset Police received a report of a three-vehicle road traffic collision on Radipole Lane in Westham in Weymouth. It is reported that a vehicle collided with two parked cars.
"Officers are in attendance with the fire and ambulance services. Minor injuries have been reported. The road is currently closed from Weymouth fire station."
Weymouth Fire Station Watch Manager Matt Fry said: "At 12.33pm we had reports of a single vehicle road traffic collision. A car had collided with parked cars.
"The single occupant of the vehicle was out of the car already when we arrived. Two apparatus from Weymouth attended. All emergency services are leaving the scene now."
The Dorset Echo has contacted South Western Ambulance Service for comment.
One resident said: "I saw the fire engines, I don't really know what happened."
Another resident said: "I wasn't too sure what had happened. I was talking to a volunteer lady up the road and all she said was that she heard a loud bang.
"It is very good there were no major injuries."
A spokesperson for the South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SWASFT) said: “We were called at 12.29pm on Tuesday, May 21 to a road traffic incident in Westham.
"We sent one double-crewed land ambulance to the scene and conveyed one patient by land ambulance to Dorset County Hospital."
