A folk guitarist and former editor of Time Out magazine will perform at a church in Dorset.
Jon Wilks will present a show filled with fingerpicking, songs and stories at St Laurence Church on Church Street in Upwey, Weymouth.
The performance will take place on Friday, May 24 with doors set to open at 7.30pm.
Jon will be performing traditional English folk songs, broadside ballads, as well as a selection of his own music.
With a background as a former editor of Time Out magazine and regular contributor to the Guardian, Dazed and Confused, and other publications, Jon's performances involve storytelling.
During performances, he mixes entertaining folk song performances with fascinating titbits about the original singers and collectors that he has unearthed during his research on traditional folk music in the UK.
Tickets for the event are £13, and can be purchased online from www.ticketsource.co.uk/upwey-music
