A Dorset based charity is holding an open day in the hopes of welcoming new volunteers.
Age UK’s North, South and West Dorset branch are inviting members of the public who are interested in volunteering with the charity, to come along to a taster day.
The event will be held in the charity’s headquarters in Crown Square in Poundbury on Friday, June 7 between 11am to 2pm.
Interested visitors will get the chance to find out more about how the charity helps the elderly community of Dorset by speaking to volunteers involved.
Refreshments of tea, coffee and cake will be provided.
