Firefighters were called to a blaze at a building in Dorchester this morning.
Crew from Dorchester and Weymouth Fire Station were called to deal with a property fire in North Square, Dorchester.
The incident was first reported around 8.58am this morning (Sunday, May 19).
Pictures from Dorchester Fire Station shows smoke coming from the top floor of a building close to Dorchester Corn Exchange.
The crews used hoses to extinguish the fire and are believed to have left the scene around 11.30am.
It is not known at this time whether anyone sustained any injuries.
A spokesperson for Dorset and Wiltshire Fire said: "At 08:58 this morning crews from Dorchester and Weymouth Fire Station responded to reports of a property fire in Dorchester town area.
"Upon arrival smoke was found issuing from the property, so crews got to work with four breathing apparatus wearers with hose reel jets to extinguish the fire."
