A MAN was banned from Weymouth seafront due to consistent anti-social behaviour.
Officers from Weymouth and Portland Police issued a Community Protection Warning Letter (CPW) to a man, which excludes him from the area on the seafront.
A spokesperson for Weymouth and Portland Police said: "Today officers have worked with the Community Safety Accredited Scheme officers (CSAS), to locate a local male, who has been involved in on-going anti-social behaviour (ASB), along the Esplanade and in the Town Centre.
"This male has now been served a CPW letter, to exclude him from these areas, and prevent future anti-social behaviour.
"This CPW is a result of partnership working with Dorset Council, and is the first stage of an escalation process if they fail to comply."
