Supercars and urban mountain bike displays are on their way to a popular Dorset attraction.
The displays will take the stage at The Tank Museum’s Track and Wheels event on Bank Holiday Monday, May 6, in Bovington.
Set amongst the world’s finest collection of military vehicles, supercars from the charity Sporting Bears will offer rides in their classic and sports cars and visitors will be able to witness extreme bike stunts from Urban Displays.
The Tank Museum events manager, Tom Holmes, said: “Tracks and Wheels is a family friendly event that combines tanks and wheeled vehicles of all types.
"This event is a brilliant opportunity to see live displays and get hands on at Dorset’s award-winning attraction.”
Formed in 1989 by a dedicated group of car enthusiasts, Sporting Bears has raised over three million for charity and visitors will be able to get up close to the exotic vehicles and enjoy a ride for a donation to charity.
A selection of Triumph motorbikes popular with celebrities such as Steve McQueen, Bob Dylan and Elvis Presley will also be a on display.
Kids will be able to enjoy the museum’s soft play area and enjoy the outside tank themed adventure play area, and older kids can take control of their own tanks in the World of Tanks Gaming Zone.
With over 300 armoured vehicles and 10 exhibitions, there is plenty to see and do this bank holiday at The Tank Museum.
