A former Weymouth student turned model has returned to his former school to deliver an inspirational talk.
Ex-Wey valley alumni Max Cocking is an international model, freelance editor, and writer who currently works as a creative editorial director at Dream Lab Studios , a creative studio building social first content for brands.
Through his career he has been a Conde Nast magazine intern, worked as a fashion model, a creative producer for music videos and a consultant for brands such as Chanel, Google and Netflix.
Max took a trip back to his old school to speak with year 9 and 10 students about his career and the reality of working in the creative industry.
One student said: “I really want a career in the fashion industry and Max has inspired me to unlock my potential.”
Another student studying Music added: “The session has really made me think about the connection between modelling and music.”
Mr Chutter, Head of Performing Arts and Teaching and Learning Challenge Lead, said: “We would like to thank to Max for such an innovative presentation and for enabling our students to consider their future career choices within the industry.”
