SEATS on Swanage Town Council are being heavily fought this Thursday (2nd) with election contests in both of the town’s six-seat wards.
At Wareham seventeen candidates have put their names forward for the sixteen seats with no Conservatives listed as standing and half of the candidates describing themselves as Independent.
In Wareham St Martin there will be no election with insufficient candidates while in the Sandford ward only six candidates had put themselves forward for the nine seats, with only one candidate for the two seats in the Holton Heath ward.
