A cruise ship christened by Princess Margriet Francisca of the Netherlands has called into Portland Port this morning.
MS Rotterdam arrived at the port at 8.21am after travelling overnight from Brest in France.
The ship, which was build in 2021, boasts 13 decks and can carry up to 2,662 passengers on board.
MS Rotterdam is operated by the HOLLANDAMERICA cruise line and last visited Portland in 2023.
There is plenty onboard to keep guests entertained including a casino, a movie theatre, a pickleball court and plenty of restaurants.
The cruise liner sailed her first voyage on October 20, 2021, on a 14-day transatlantic crossing between Amsterdam and her maiden home port of Port Everglades, with planned stops at Zeebrugge, Le Havre, Portland, Brest, and Ponta Delgada.
For her inaugural season, Rotterdam sailed in the Caribbean before returning to Europe in April 2022.
MS Rotterdam has followed the Regal Princess into the port, which arrived on Monday.
