A man has been taken to hospital after two vehicles collided with each other along the A37.
The two vehicles hit each other close to the Weir roundabout, not far from Dorchester, and the crash had caused part of the eastbound carriageway to be blocked.
An ambulance crew treated a man on the scene for what Dorset Police have described as 'minor injuries'.
Due to the road being partially blocked, there were some delays to traffic in the area but the road has now been cleared and arrangements have been made for the vehicle recovery.
