Suspected drugs were seized after police stopped a vehicle on a road in Weymouth.
Three people are under investigation for drug supply offences after police swooped on Wednesday evening.
Dorset Police officers on patrol stopped and searched the vehicle on Wiltshire Avenue last night at 7.15pm as well as its two occupants.
A quantity of suspected cannabis was located.
A 17-year-old boy and a 20-year-old man are now under investigation for drug supply offences.
Whilst at the scene officers noticed another man acting suspiciously, who was also detained and searched.
A 19-year-old man was reportedly found in possession of cannabis, a subsequent search of a nearby address was conducted and he is also now under investigation for drug supply offences.
The three people have been ordered to attend police interviews.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: "At around 7.15pm on Wednesday officers from the Neighbourhood Enforcement Team (NET) on patrol in Wiltshire Avenue in Weymouth stopped a vehicle and conducted a search of the two occupants as well as the vehicle.
"Whilst at the scene officers also reportedly noticed another man acting suspiciously and he was detained for a search.
"The NET (Neighbourhood Enforcement Teams) will continue to carry out proactive activity in our communities and respond to reports of suspected drug-related activity."
Police enquiries are ongoing.
