An arts charity in Dorset has announced its summer programme of events to be performed across rural venues.
Artsreach’s new season will include nine local, national and international artists and companies who are set to perform in rural communities in Dorset.
The programme includes live music from folk bands She'Koyokh and Rum Ragged, as well as theatrical productions of Chaucer’s Canterbury Tales, the fairy-tale Hansel & Gretel and Shakespeare’s The Comedy of Errors.
There will also be contemporary open-air circus show and stage retellings of Hannah Cowley’s 18th century romantic comedy The Belle’s Stratagem and Greek and Indian mythology.
Community venues range from village halls in Broadmayne, Litton Cheney and Drimpton to a sports and social club in Blandford Forum.
