A Weymouth woman is relaunching her weight loss group to help people 'regain control of their life'.
Sue Glenn has more than 18 years’ experience as a Slimming World consultant in the Weymouth and Portland area.
In 2019 she chose a different career but soon found it wasn't for her so is returning and relaunching a group meeting at the Top Club, Littlemoor.
The group will meet on Tuesdays from April 30 at the new times of 5.30pm and 7pm.
Sue said of the group: “It's not just about losing weight, it's about regaining control of your life, your health, and your happiness.
“At group meetings, there is no judgment, no humiliation, only camaraderie, encouragement, and unwavering support."
There is now a three-year partnership between Diabetes UK and Slimming World.
More than five million people in the UK are now living with diabetes, equivalent to more than one in 14 people.
Sue said: “Some of the most rewarding results from members that previously attended my groups were from those that were diabetic, struggling with their weight and saw no possible way out of the spiral they were into be able to turn that around and become healthier, in some cases reduce medication or completely come off it and back in control of their lives.
“So, to those who have crossed paths with me in the past, and to those who are just beginning their journey, I invite you to join me, let us rediscover the joy of helping others as well as ourselves, living the life we want, eat the food we love and still lose weight."
