A Weymouth finalist of a popular Channel 4 show is hosting pottery lessons in Dorset.
Dan Sandham who was a finalist of Great Pottery Throw Down will be hosting a pottery workshop at the Dorset Spring Show alongside his fellow contestant Ed King.
The brand-new Dorset Spring Show is set to take place at Kingston Maurward in Dorchester on Saturday, April 27 and Sunday, April 28 for a weekend filled with Spring entertainment, demonstrations, and educational activities.
Dan came runner up in the 2024 Great Pottery Throw Down which aired last month on Channel 4.
He lives in Weymouth and has been potting for nearly ten years and ‘loves throwing big pots.’
Dan said: “I’ve loved watching the Great Pottery Throw Down for last couple of months and am excited to be sharing my love of ceramics at this year’s Dorset Spring Show.”
There will be plenty of spring foods, farming, flowers, and rural crafts, BMX bikes, rural demonstrations and dancing sheep.
Tickets are £12 for adults until April 20 or £15 on the gate and children go free.
