Smoke poured from the windows and doors of a takeaway shop following a blaze this morning.
The incident at 9am was at a takeaway on Queen Street in Gillingham.
Crews from Gillingham and Shaftesbury were called to the scene, but more were quickly requested. In total five fire engines attended including two from Devon and Somerset.
A spokesperson for Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue said: "At 9.01am this morning, control received a call of smoke coming out of all windows and doors from a takeaway shop.
"Crews from Gillingham and Shaftesbury were first mobilised, however, more appliances were quickly requested, with five fire engines attending in total, two being from Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service.
"An incident command unit from salisbury and a support fire engine from Sherborne attended."
The fire was extinguished using six breathing apparatuses, two hose reel jets, two thermal imaging cameras, two main lines, one triple extension ladder and small tools.
