A lorry crashed into a telegraph pole leaving a road closed both ways.
Dorset Police received a report at 10.08am on Tuesday, April 2 of a crash involving a lorry and a telegraph pole on the A352 between Chalky Road in Broadmayne and the West Knighton turn off in Whitcombe.
Officers attended the scene and the road has been closed both ways.
There have been no reports of any injuries.
Police were reported to have left the scene by 3.20pm.
The road closure remains in place by the local authority.
A spokesperson from Dorset Police said: "We received a report at 10.08am on Tuesday 2 April 2024 of a collision involving a lorry and a telegraph pole on the A352 in Broadmayne near Dorchester.
"Officers are in attendance and the road has been closed. No injuries reported.
"Electricity company and local authority have been made aware."
A member of the public said: "The lorry hit the telegraph pole and brought down all the cables.
"The police are there and they have stopped traffic."
