Wyke Regis Horticultural Society is hosting an evening talk by Caps Browning-Smith, head gardener, explaining the work in the gardens at Hardy's Cottage and Max Gate.
The garden of Max Gate, in Dorchester, features a quaint pet cemetery while the garden of Hardy's Cottage, in Higher Bockhampton, is around a third of an acre and is beautifully laid out with paths, cottage flowers and a vegetable patch.
It will be held on Tuesday, April 9 and will take place in the Trading Post, Rylands Lane, DT4 9PY at 7pm, followed by a soup and dessert supper.
Tickets cost £7.50, non-members are welcome.
