A group of volunteers helped to maintain a picturesque Dorset attraction.
Volunteers were helping Lulworth Rangers over the winter to maintain the steps down to the beach at Durdle Door.
Due to the coastline’s nature, rangers reported that the bank had slumped over the steps, narrowing the access.
Volunteers helped the rangers uncover the steps and shuttering was put in place to reinforce the bank behind it.
Activities undertaken by Lulworth Ranger volunteers include: beach cleaning, footpath maintenance, scrub management, tourism surveys, wildlife gardening, interpretation design, field studies teaching and wildlife survey, among many others.
