POLICE have extended bail for a suspect as they continue to investigate 13 car fires in Dorset.
The cars were set alight across the Broadstone, Wimborne and Merley areas in the early hours of Monday, May 15, 2023 - more than nine months back.
A full investigation was launched and a local man aged in his 40s was arrested on suspicion of arson.
He was later released and has remained on police bail ever since.
His bail was due to expire in mid-February, but has been extended twice.
It is now due to expire in mid-April.
