A MAIN road in Dorset will be closed for overnight maintenance work.
The A37 will be closed in Stratton between the railway bridge and Grimstone from Friday, March 15 for work that is expected to be completed by Thursday, March 21.
The work will be taking place overnight between 8pm and 6am. The road will re-open to traffic daily and at weekends.
A clearway will also be imposed on this stretch, meaning that cars will be unable to park and any that do may be towed.
This closure will enable Dorset Council to carry out essential carriageway maintenance works.
A locally signed diversion route will be put in place to enable traffic to travel around the closed sections.
For further information about the work being undertaken and access arrangements, call Dorset Council on 01305 228100. To discuss the closure order, contact Dorset Council on 01305 221020.
