A COUNTRY and folk band will be providing the entertainment at a concert in Weymouth.
All Saints Church in Wyke Regis is hosting a concert by country and folk band Route 66 on Saturday, April 6.
An entertaining mixture of modern and contemporary covers and originals are expected.
Members of the band come from Poole and Ringwood and include female vocalist Amie Knight, an accomplished country singer and songwriter in her own right with several recordings to her name.
Acoustic guitars, fiddle and cajon will complete the line up at All Saints.
Route 66 is a regular performer around local festivals, pubs and clubs. They also have a slot at next year's New Forest Folk Festival.
The concert, which is a fundraising event for the church, starts at 7.30pm (doors open at 7pm).
Tickets are £6 from the website parishofwykeregis.org.uk/events, on the door, or from Jeff Thomas on 07710 096174. A cash bar will be available.
