A man has been arrested following a spate of four reported burglaries across Dorset
A 47-year-old man was arrested in connection with four reports of non-dwelling burglaries on Wednesday, February 28.
The burglaries were committed between Thursday, December 14, 2023 and Wednesday, January 3, 2024, in Swanage, Weymouth and Dorchester.
Police are now issuing images of a safe that they have recovered after the man from Wiltshire was arrested in connection with a number of commercial burglaries.
Police Constable Bryce Scott-Jones, of the Weymouth and Portland Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “As part of our enquiries into these reported burglaries, we have made an arrest and also recovered a damaged safe that we believe may have been stolen.
“We are keen to hear from anyone who recognises this safe or who has any information about where it may have come from.”
