A community is asking for bric-a-brac to hold a fundraising event to raise money for a popular park.
The Friends of Lodmoor Country Park has set a date for its fundraising event for athe Table Top Sale Trail.
The event will take place on Sunday, June 30, between 10am to 1pm through eight roads: Weymouth Bay Avenue, Grove Avenue, Moorside Avenue, Lodmoor Avenue, Moorside Close, Haywards Avenue, Cleveland Avenue and Beaumont Avenue.
Organisers are encouraging locals to get started and search in their lofts and storage areas to find items suitable for the sale.
According to the Friends of Lodmoor County Park, the event is going to be under a simplified format. Money raised with be going to the Park funds. There will be a bucket collection. In previous years, some stalls have been set up to raise money for various good causes.
