A march protesting against a popular fast-food franchise is set to take place this weekend in Weymouth.
The Dorset Palestine Solidarity Campaign (DPSC) is planning to hold a rally and march on Saturday, March 2.
Starting from the Weymouth Jubilee Clock at 10.30am the marchers will move through Weymouth before handing in a letter to McDonald's.
The DPSC is taking part in calls for an international boycott of the fast-food franchise following an alleged donation by the company's Israeli franchise of 100,000 meals to the Israeli military personnel - who the DSPC say are committing genocide against Palestinians in Gaza.
Furthermore, they say that McDonald's in Malaysia has taken out a $1 million lawsuit against BDS Malaysia, a campaign advocating justice and equality for Palestinians.
A spokesperson for the DSPC said: "McDonald’s support for the IDF forces committing mass murder of women, children and families gives the lie to their brand’s 'commitment to families'.
"We know many of McDonald’s customers and employees will be horrified at the company’s support for the attacks on families in Gaza. Together we can act to stop the company’s complicity in genocide.
"The international campaign for Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) is calling for a global boycott of McDonald's until the company severs all connections with its franchise in Israel."
After the recent closure of the town centre McDonald's on St Mary Street, two franchises remain in Weymouth. Both are in retail parks, the Weymouth Gateway Retail Park and the Jubilee Retail Park.
The Dorset Echo has contacted McDonald's for comment.
