Cameras are now being used to catch people who litter whilst out driving.
Dorset Council's waste services is urging people to take their rubbish home with them and not dump it on the streets whilst out in their cars.
Those caught on camera disposing of their waste whilst out on the road could also face a fine.
If you are a Dorset driver, you can also report people who throw rubbish out of their car and send dashcam footage of the perpetrators to help catch them.
A spokesperson for Dorset Council's waste services said: "We take our rubbish home in Dorset.
"We are now using cameras to catch those who don’t.
"If you leave litter behind you could face a fine. Thank you for taking your rubbish home."
