A busy Dorset road has been partially blocked due to an obstruction on the road, causing a problem with traffic.
The A35 is partially blocked both ways with heavy traffic reported near the Maiden Newton turn off between Kingston Russell and Winterbourne Abbas.
Heavy traffic was first reported around 3.45pm.
One local resident said: "It's been raining quite heavily so I would think it could be due to the flooding as there was water across half the road when I was travelling earlier."
Motorists are advised to find alternative routes.
