Police have warned drivers to slow down to ensure the safety of emergency workers at crash scenes.
They spoke out after emergency services rushed to the scene of a two-car crash in Dorset.
Although no one was reported to have suffered any injuries in the incident on Saturday it prompted police to warn drivers to take more care.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: “This afternoon, Shaftesbury and Sturminster Newton Neighbourhood Policing Team attended a two-vehicle Road Traffic Collision (RTC) on the B3081 between Gillingham and Shaftesbury. Thankfully, all occupants were uninjured."
The spokesperson went on to issue advice to motorists passing the scenes of a crash.
“We would like to encourage drivers passing scene of road collisions to ensure they drive at an appropriate speed, and to be mindful of members of the public, emergency service workers, and recovery agents working on the carriageway. A safe passing speed helps keep everyone safe.”
