Coastguards were called to rescue a walker that got stuck on Portland.
The incident was reported around 1pm on Saturday, February 24. Coastguard teams from Portland Bill and Wyke were tasked with locating and recovering a walker.
The walker had reportedly got themselves stuck in thick undergrowth on the embankment near to the old railway track, north of Church Ope Cove on Portland.
On the scene, the teams were able to locate the walker using the what3words position they had provided.
Next, the teams cut their way through the thick undergrowth to gain access to the walker and used a hand line to walk them back up and onto the track to safety.
