A yellow weather warning has been issued for Dorset this weekend.
The Met Office has put a yellow weather warning for rain in place that will affect the county and rest of the South West.
The warning was issued today (Saturday, February 24) and is in place from on Sunday, February 25 for 12 hours from 6am to 6pm.
Bus and train services will ‘probably’ be affected by the wet weather, whilst spray and flooding could also make journey times longer, according to the Met Office.
Around 15mm to 25mm of rainfall is likely with some flooding and disruption.
A spokesperson for the Met Office said: “ Rain is expected to move northeastwards across parts of Southwest England on Sunday morning, persisting through much of the day before slowly dying out later in the afternoon.
“With saturated ground, this may lead to some flooding and disruption.”
