A two-vehicle crash was reported in North Dorset yesterday afternoon.
At 5.03pm, Dorset Police received a report of a crash involving two vehicles on Bath Road in Sturminster Newton.
Firefighters and South Western Ambulance paramedics were also called to the scene.
Both occupants were already outside their vehicles when crews arrived and checked over by the ambulance service. No injuries were reported.
The fire crews assisted with traffic management and ensured both vehicles remained safe before leaving the incident with North Dorset Police.
A vehicle was recovered and the road was subsequently cleared at around 7.50pm.
A spokesperson from Sturminster Newton Fire Station said: "Our first saw us called out at 5.10pm to carry out scene safety following a minor collision within the town, although both occupants were out of their vehicles an ambulance did attend to check them over.
"Crews assisted with traffic management and ensured both vehicles were made safe before leaving the incident in the hands of our colleagues from North Dorset Police."
A spokesperson from Dorset Police added: "We were called at 5.03pm on Thursday 22 February 2024 to a report of a two vehicle collision in Bath Road in Sturminster Newton.
"Officers attended with fire and ambulance services. Recovery was requested for one of the vehicles. No injuries reported. Road cleared at around 7.50pm."
