A man was rushed to hospital after falling from a multi-storey car park.
Emergency services were called to the corner of Lower St. Alban Street and Commercial Road in Weymouth shortly before 6.40am on Thursday.
Three ambulances, three police cars, a doctor's car and the fire service were reportedly in attendance and the road was temporarily closed.
The man has been taken to hospital with serious injuries, Dorset Police said.
Emergency responders have now left the scene and the road has been reopened.
A spokesperson for Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue said: "We were called to assisted police with an incident on Commercial Road.
"One fire engine from Weymouth was sent but on arrival was informed our assistance was no longer required so no action was taken by us."
A spokesperson for the South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust said: “We were called at 06.41am on Thursday 22 February to an incident in Weymouth.
"We sent two double-crewed land ambulances and a doctor and conveyed one patient by land ambulance to Dorset County Hospital.”
