Trains running from Weymouth to London Waterloo could be delayed due to a track ‘failure’ on the tracks.
Due to a ‘points failure’ along the South Western Railway (SWR) line at Woking, fewer trains are able to run on some lines.
A set of points are the part of the track that can move, allowing the train to change direction and access different parts of the network.
Train services running through this station may be delayed or revised.
Disruption is expected until the end of the day.
A spokesperson for SWR said: “We have been informed that there is a problem with a set of points at Woking. This means that fewer trains are able to run on some lines.
“For further information or onward travel advice please speak to a member of staff or use a station help point.
“We are very sorry for any delay that this may cause to your journey.”
