Weymouth’s community party project Rossco (and Co.) is to release its debut album in March.
Local musician, publican and community advocate Rossco Broughton-South is returning to The Bay Theatre at Weymouth College for the launch.
Celebrating the release of their debut album ‘Set Sail’, Rossco (and Co.) will be bringing their entourage of theatrical stage props, cosplay and high energy, paired with their hybrid sounds of rock, metal, rap and dance.
Supporting the debut album celebrations will be one of the fastest growing artists in the local community, The Haze and will bring their own original set of hits to the concert.
They have brought a range of communities together for good causes, namely last year’s sold out ‘Rock for Riley’ concert at The Bay Theatre.
Rossco is a former Higher National Diploma student at Weymouth College and is always keen to promote up and coming talent.
Current students studying music at the college, described as 'the future of Weymouth and Portland’s ever-expanding repertoire of talented musicians', will be opening the album launch show.
The explosive annual appearances from Rossco (and Co.) are becoming one of the most highly-anticipated events of the year, and with the celebration of the album release, plus other exclusive perks and announcements, tickets are expected to be in high-demand.
The event will be held on Thursday, March 21 with doors opening at 6pm.
Tickets cost £12 in advance or on the door (subject to availability) and are available at www.ticketsource.co.uk/thebaytheatre
