A power cut in Weymouth has affected more than 700 homes and businesses this morning
The power cut mostly affected the south harbourside, the Nothe as well as parts of Rodwell, Bincleaves and Preston.
SSEN are now reporting that they have restored power to the majority of homes and businesses, particularly around the south harbourside and the Nothe.
Smaller outages are still reported in Wyke Regis and Preston, which are expected to be restored at 12.30pm and 2pm respectively.
A spokesperson for SSEN said: "We are very sorry for the power cut and are aware of a fault on our main network affecting 732 homes. This is affecting a large area and it is likely several streets in your area affected by the same outage.
"The cause of this power cut is a fault in our underground network."
