Police helped the public deal with an 'intoxicated' man and investigated suspected shop thefts in a town centre during a patrol.
Dorchester Neighbourhood Policing Team conducted foot patrols in the town centre on Friday afternoon around areas known to be anti-social behaviour hotspots, and spoke to shopkeepers.
A spokesperson for Dorchester Police said: "Dorchester Neighbourhood Policing Team have been out on foot patrol in the town centre this afternoon, patrolling our known anti-social behaviour hotspots and liaising with shopkeepers.
"Whilst out we gathered intelligence regarding recent shopliftings in the town and assisted members of the public with an intoxicated male."
