A car in Shaftesbury caught fire whilst parked on a residential street.
A crew from Shaftesbury Fire Station was called to the blaze on Greenacre Way in Shaftesbury at about 9.33pm on Friday, February, 16.
Flames were reported coming out of the engine compartment of a parked car and it was well alight by the time the fire crew arrived.
A spokesperson for Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue said: "One of our crews from Shaftesbury attended reports of flames coming out of the engine compartment of a parked car.
"When the crew arrived, the vehicle was well alight so crews made quick work of extinguishing the fire using two breathing apparatus and one hose reel jet."
