A local heritage group is seeking photos and memories from the public who remember the Roman baths excavation in Dorchester.
The Dorchester Joint Heritage Committee wants to provide more information to the community about the Roman baths.
Extensive remains of the baths were excavated 47 years ago by archaeologists underneath what is now Wollaston Field car park in Dorchester.
The baths were a centre-point for the Roman town in Dorchester, and included both hot and cold baths, as well as plunge pools and hot rooms with mosaics and underfloor heating.
The heritage committee would like to present more information about the baths on their website and are keen to hear from anyone who has photographs of the excavation that took place in 1977.
Pictures will be added to their online archive.
Those with memories or photographs are asked to get in touch with the committee by emailing admin@dorchester-tc.gov.uk
