Money has been stolen from a hair salon in Weymouth after a burglary last night.

Dorset Police is investigating the burglary at Head Style after it had received a report at 8.07am on Friday, February 16 on Littlemoor Road.

Officers believe entry was forced some time overnight and a quantity of cash was stolen and are now appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward. 

Police constable Andy Dickinson, of Weymouth police, said: “I am carrying out enquiries into this incident and would ask anyone who saw or heard suspicious activity in the area to please get in touch.

“Also, I would ask residents with home CCTV systems, or motorists who were travelling in the vicinity with a dashcam, to please check their footage for anything of relevance.”
