Police are appealing for the public's help as they search for a missing teenage girl.
Ischia Montagu, who is 16 years old, was reported missing just before 7pm yesterday, Wednesday.
She was last seen in Lym Close, Lyme Regis, earlier in the day at around 3pm.
She is described as 5ft 6ins tall, of slight build and with curly brown hair. She is wearing a green jumper, trousers and a black coat.
Inspector Mark Holmes, of Dorset Police, said: “We need to find Ischia urgently as we are concerned for her welfare.
“Officers are searching the area and are making enquiries to establish where she may have gone.
“My hope is that somebody may have seen Ischia since the last sighting and can help us find her.
“Ischia – if you see this appeal, please make contact with your family or us as we want to ensure you are safe and well.”
Anyone with information or knowledge as to Ischia’s whereabouts is asked to contact Dorset Police at dorset.police.uk or by calling 101, quoting incident number 14:517.
