Parts of Dorset are on flood alert, while the county has been issued with a weather warning by the Met Office.

The warning in place covers the county from 2am today, Thursday, until 6am tomorrow, with a possibility of flooding in low lying areas.

The Isle of Portland is set to be battered by continuous rain throughout Thursday from 2pm, with no break in precipitation until 11am on Friday morning.
