Fire crews tackled a 'derelict' car on fire.
A fire crew from Dorchester raced to Dick O’ Th’ Banks Road in Crossways on Monday following reports of a vehicle on fire.
The crew needed help from a 4x4 Land Rover to gain access to the vehicle due to it being in a 'difficult location'.
A spokesperson for Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “A crew from Dorchester were called to Dick O' Th' Banks Road, Crossways, at 5.33pm yesterday evening following reports of a vehicle fire.
“A small 4x4 pumping appliance from Bere Regis was then mobilised to gain access to the derelict vehicle as it was in a difficult location - firefighters used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire,” they added.
