Two adjacent roads in Weymouth will be closed for resurfacing next week.
Glen Avenue and Prince of Wales Road in Rodwell will be closed for two days the work by Dorset Council is carried out.
The closures will take effect from Monday, February 12 and could last up to five days, however, it is expected the work swill be completed by the end of Wednesday, February 14.
The road closures are needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise likelihood of danger to highway users.
As well as closing the two roads, the cou8ncil will impose a temporary clearway on Prince of Wales Road for its entirety to prevent vehicles from stopping, except those associated with the works, and to impose a temporary clearway on Glen Avenue for its entirety, also to prevent vehicles from stopping, except those associated with the works.
A diversion has been put in place which will see drivers need to drive via Chickerell Road, Rodwell Road and Wyke Road to access Gypsy Lane.
