Officers are appealing for information from the public to assist their searches for a missing woman from Dorchester.
Saima Noreen, aged 36, was reported missing after having last been seen in the Poundbury area at around 8pm on Saturday, February 3.
Saima is described as being five feet four inches tall, slim build with long, black hair tied back in a pony-tail.
She is wearing a pink T-shirt, pink trousers, black hooded coat, black flip-flops and carrying a maroon handbag with a long-strap.
Police Inspector Gareth Bishop, of Dorset Police, said: “Saima’s disappearance is described as out-of-character by those who know her. We are concerned for her welfare and we are very keen to locate her to ensure she is safe and well.
“I would urge anyone with information regarding Saima’s whereabouts, or who has seen a woman matching the description given, to please contact us.
“If Saima sees this appeal, I would urge her to call us. We are all worried about you and just want to ensure you are OK.”
