RESIDENTS of a Dorset village have been warned about parking over dropped kerbs.
PCSO Alison Donnison conducted a Community Contact Point outside Premier Stores Crossways on Friday, January 26.
She spoke with villagers and some raised concerns regarding cars parking over dropped kerbs.
This was making it difficult for people to cross the road with pushchairs and mobility scooters had to find an alternative crossing point.
Cars parked over dropped kerbs should be reported to Dorset Council.
According to police, parking should also be reported to the council if cars are parked; on pedestrian crossings, in spaces reserved for Blue Badge holders, residents or motorbikes (unless -
entitled to do so), in marked taxi bays, cycle lanes or red lines or near a school entrance, bus or tram stop.
