A Portland business is inviting local schools and youth groups to take part in its weekly adventure club during summer term time.
Outdoor education provider Adventure 4 All will be running a weekly adventure club during the summer school term based at Portland Marina. Children as young as six can participate in activities such as kayaking, paddleboarding, coasteering and rock climbing.
These summer activities are part of the second phase of the provider’s school initiative which will follow their free water safety training course due to take place on Thursday, February 29.

A spokesperson from Portland Marina said: “The importance of adventure sports and activities in building confidence and developing life skills in children and young people has long since been recognised, along with the benefits of getting outdoors.
“We are hugely proud to support their business and the school/community youth group offer they are rolling out.”
Adventure 4 All is a family run business which aims to provide young people with a safe space to experience the outdoors in Weymouth and Portland.
Alex Sergison, Managing Director, said: “It is a fantastic area to grow up and we want our local children and young people to have every opportunity to enjoy it.
"We are incredibly lucky to have the support of Portland Marina to help us offer this initiative and hopefully enable schools and youth groups to further take part in adventurous activity here in Weymouth and Portland.”
Sessions for schools cost £10 plus VAT per head for and will run Monday to Friday during summer term time beginning on April 15.
