Dorset residents are being reminded that help is available for those seeking energy advice.
As the cold weather persists, many people will be turning up the thermostat at home, but for some, putting the heating on may be an expense they are struggling to afford.
Public Health Dorset has issued a reminder that help is out there in the form of Healthy Homes Dorset.
A spokesperson said: "It's Energy Savers Week and we're reminding residents in Dorset, help is available from Healthy Homes Dorset if you need energy advice to keep you and your home warmer."
Healthy Homes Dorset is funded by Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council, Dorset Council and Public Health Dorset and is delivered by Ridgewater Energy.
Ways in which they can help people with saving energy includes installing free cavity wall insulation, giving free impartial energy advice over the phone, installing free loft insulation and installing new heating systems or replacing existing boilers.
Everyone is eligible for free energy advice, which includes asking questions over the phone.
